Our Data Sources
Settings profiles on FilamentProfilesHub come from:
- Manufacturer documentation — official spec sheets, slicer profiles, and datasheets published by filament brands and printer manufacturers.
- Community contributions — settings shared by experienced makers on Reddit, Discord, and dedicated forums, curated and verified by our team.
- Lab testing — settings we have personally tested and validated in our own print lab.
- AI-assisted generation — some profiles are initially generated by AI based on material chemistry and known printer capabilities, then flagged for community review. These are always marked as AI-generated.
